Biography
Rawn Martin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private psychotherapy practice. He uses a humanistic and eclectic approach informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Logo therapy, Attachment Informed Grief & Loss Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Existential Therapy.
Rawn honed his expertise in Mood Disorders at the John Hopkins Hospital Meyer 4 Mood Disorders Service, focused on dementia care at Sheppard Pratt Hospital Dept. of Neuropsychiatry, is affiliated with Rathbone & Associates/Capital Youth Services, and is currently Adjunct Faculty at John Hopkins University Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences teaching Family Therapy to 3rd year Psychiatry residents.
Rawn earned an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD, as well as a Master's Degree in Social Work from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
