Girl With Red ChairRawn Martin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private psychotherapy practice, as well as on the staff of the Meyer 4 Affective Disorders Unit of Johns Hopkins Hospital. Rawn’s clinical practice focuses on depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, stress and trauma, grief and adjustment issues, somatic disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and postpartum depression. 

His approach utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy techniques aimed at moving the client beyond his/her current state to a more productive, balanced and happier place, as well as illness education and supportive therapies for families.  Rawn’s practice includes treatment of adolescents, adults and the elderly and addresses individual, family and couples issues.  In addition to talk therapy, Rawn is versed in art and other expressive techniques to help his clients reach their therapeutic goals. 

Rawn earned an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
